組織架構圖
在英聯邦國家，由於傳統上總編輯的職銜是editor，所以副總編輯是deputy editor，助理總編輯是associate editor。至於部門主管的職銜，負責時政新聞的採訪主任是news editor，副刊主編是features editor，體育版主編是sports editor，國際版主編是foreign editor。財經版主編的職銜除了是business editor，也有稱city editor的，因爲英國人稱倫敦的金融區為the City。負責採訪新聞的記者除了稱reporter，也有稱writer或correspondent的，後者多用於派到海外或在國內被派到首都的資深記者。如前所述，編輯是subeditor，統領編輯隊伍的是chief subeditor。一個頗爲特別的職銜是leader writer，負責撰寫社論。這是因爲在英國報業傳統中，反映報章立場的社論稱為leading article或leader。1)
